At NA BassoonsWe believe in the power of music to connect, inspire and transform. The bassoon is our starting point and transformative tool. Our commitment to arts education - and especially music education - is reflected in our pedagogical projects. They are designed to bring improvisation and modern music to students of classical music.
With the experience of Alfonso F. Vargasa pioneer in the introduction of the bassoon in genres such as the reggae and the afrobeatwe offer master class and specialised workshops. These sessions combine classical training with innovative technological tools such as the looper and the improvisation.
In his workshops, Alfonso explores the concept of the "The Distancing of the Score".. It teaches how to create collective musical experiences from simple loops. In this way, it replaces the concept of error with the concept of exploration. This approach offers students a new perspective on classical music. It also allows them to develop trust y creativity in the interpretative process.
