The tudeles Zanetti are conceived within the Central European acoustic tradition inspired by the Heckel models, but incorporating a own constructive approach based on a high-precision, handcrafted process.

In contrast to the usual system with welded sheet metal, these tudels are made from a seamless metal pipe, The mould is formed by pressing in several stages on the mould, which guarantees a camera extremely precise internal and a homogeneous density of the metal throughout the part. This technique avoids the irregularities of traditional welding and eliminates potential weak points for corrosion or long-term cracking.

Each tudel has a acoustic personality -in strength, emission and timbre colour - the result of its handmade production. They are mainly grouped according to length, material, geometry y thickness This allows the bassoonist to fine-tune pitch, projection, register stability and sonic flexibility.

The range currently includes several profiles:

  • Models No. 4 and No. 5: based on a well-established standard profile; No. 4 is slightly more developed than No. 5.
  • Model No. 6: inspired by the Heckel CD, designed to slightly favour the elevation and stability of the tenor register.

The materials used are mainly alpaca (nickel-silver) and brass, with different thickness configurations identified as:

  • L (Light): thinner wall
  • M (Medium): medium thickness
  • H (Heavy): higher thickness

In addition, the metal can receive treatments that change its consistencyThe standard version (no indication) and the version marked D, generally associated with a brighter and more direct response.
